A 26-year-old woman was brutally murdered inside a lodge in the Wakad area of Pune on Saturday afternoon, allegedly by her partner who suspected her of having an affair. The accused, identified as Dilawar Singh (25), later surrendered himself at Kondhwa police station, confessing to the crime.
According to officials, the incident occurred between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. at a lodge in Kalakhadak, Wakad. Singh, a resident of Pisoli, was reportedly in a relationship with the victim, Mary Mallesh Telgu (26), who lived in Dehu Road and worked at a supermarket.
