India Inc’s Diwali Gifting Goes Thoughtful: Sweet, Sustainable & Stylish Hampers Lead 2025 Festive Trend

This Diwali, India Inc’s gifting game has gone through a complete transformation. From biscoff Mathura peda and medjoul dates to handcrafted brassware and eco-friendly travel kits, companies are curating gifts that blend sustainability, wellness, and style — moving far beyond the traditional mithai box.

Corporate India is not just gifting; it’s strategically celebrating. “Companies are approaching gifting with the same rigour as any critical procurement decision,” says Mitranjan Bhaduri, Director at Amazon Business, which has seen a 60% year-on-year rise in corporate gifting demand this season.

🍬 From Sweets to Sophistication

Premium sweets brand Khoya Mithai expects a 35% jump in B2B orders, thanks to unique creations like white chocolate aam papad barfi and rose-and-chocolate katli.
“These are often paired with artisanal platters and décor items like glass hourglasses,” says Sid Mathur, the brand’s founder.

Meanwhile, gifting giant Ferns N Petals (FNP) says companies are chasing customisation and premiumisation.
“Tailored hampers now feature gourmet foods, floral arrangements, plant-based gifts, tech accessories, and wellness kits,” explains Avi Kumar, Chief Marketing Officer at FNP.

🪔 Wellness Takes Centre Stage

“Healthier options like millet mathis and date sweets are replacing calorie-heavy gifts,” says Nitika Seth, Founder of Embrace Gifting Solutions, noting a clear shift toward responsible gifting.

Online platform IGP has seen average hamper prices touch ₹1,500, while premium hampers exceed ₹10,000. “We recently fulfilled an order for 8,000 hampers containing six varieties of dry fruits in custom suitcases,” says Tarun Joshi, Founder and CEO of IGP.

Tea brand Vahdam expects double-digit growth, buoyed by its new matcha gifting sets.

🪷 Sustainability Meets Sentiment

3D-printing startup WOL3D has entered the festive space with 3D-printed idols of Lord Shiva and other deities, made from eco-friendly materials.
“These pieces celebrate heritage while reflecting modern, sustainable craftsmanship,” says Rahul Chandalia, the company’s director.

Breaking away from sweets altogether, CoinDCX is sending employees crypto-themed travel kits — complete with a trolley bag, neck pillow, and tech organiser. “It’s designed to symbolise exploration and new beginnings,” says Mridul Gupta, Co-founder of the firm.

💼 Thoughtful Time-Off and Hybrid Celebrations

Some firms are extending the gifting experience beyond physical items.
Luxury handbag brand Miraggio has declared a week-long festive break from October 19 to 26 so employees can spend time with family.
“We believe time is the most meaningful gift,” says Mohit Jain, Founder and CEO of Miraggio.

At Titan Company, the focus is on meaningful, sustainable gifting.

“We want gifts to resonate with wellness, purpose, and responsibility,” says Swadesh Behra, Chief People Officer at Titan Company.

🎁 Thinking Outside the Box — Literally

India Inc’s gifting now goes beyond hampers. Companies are using gifts as an extension of their brand identity and ethics.
“Poorly chosen gifts can signal indifference. A thoughtful hamper, on the other hand, builds emotional equity,” says image consultant Anita Singh from Surat.

According to IGP’s Joshi, companies are planning months ahead, with average order values rising 10–15% annually.
Hunger Inc Hospitality CEO Sameer Seth, who runs The Bombay Sweet Shop, observes, “Budgets have increased, but the shift is toward quality, curation, and experience over volume.”

As companies evolve their gifting strategies, utility, aesthetics, and ethics are defining new benchmarks. From digital vouchers and wellness teas to sustainable décor and 3D art, 2025’s Diwali gifting season underlines a single truth — meaningful is the new luxurious.

“Today, a Diwali gift is no longer just about celebration — it’s about connection, consciousness, and corporate character,” says Seth of Embrace Gifting Solutions.
